The Carl Junction Fire Training Academy is one of the most comprehensive fire training programs in Southwest Missouri. Through extensive training, dedication and commitment, our staff has put together a training program that not only prepares the recruits for the Missouri State Certification Exams, but also prepares them mentally and physically for a rewarding career in the fire service.
Our mission is simple. The mission of the Carl Junction Fire Training Academy is to provide the highest quality education and training to the recruits.
The Carl Junction Fire Training Academy trains recruits to the Missouri Division of Fire Safety's HazMat Awareness/Operations and Firefighter I & II curriculum. In addition to the state's curriculum, advanced skills and scenarios are utilized to further expand the knowledge and abilities of the recruits.
Real life drills are routinely conducted throughout the course to enhance the knowledge of the recruits. Various "props" are utilized to simulate as many real life situations as possible.
